Job Role & Responsibilities

Senior HCC Coder

• Perform accurate medical coding using CMS-HCC guidelines
• Analyze patient records and assign appropriate diagnosis codes
• Ensure compliance with MEAT documentation standards
• Maintain productivity and coding accuracy benchmarks
• Collaborate with auditors and quality teams

HCC Coding Auditor (Risk Adjustment)

• Audit coded records for compliance and accuracy
• Validate coding as per CMS-HCC and risk adjustment guidelines
• Identify coding gaps and provide corrective feedback
• Ensure adherence to TAMPER and MEAT principles
• Support quality assurance and compliance audits

These roles are critical in healthcare revenue cycle management, ensuring accurate billing, regulatory compliance, and improved healthcare outcomes.

Eligibility / Qualifications

Candidates must have completed:

B.Pharm, M.Pharm, B.Sc, M.Sc, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Nursing, or related healthcare fields

Relevant courses include: Medical Coding, Clinical Research, Healthcare Management, Pharmacology, Biotechnology, Anatomy & Physiology

• Senior HCC Coder: 2–4 years of experience
• HCC Coding Auditor: 4+ years of experience
