Job Role & Responsibilities

As an Executive/Sr. Executive – IPR, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conduct patent landscape analyses to identify opportunities and risks for new pharmaceutical formulations.

• Perform Freedom-to-Operate (FTO) studies to ensure products can be developed and commercialized without infringing on existing patents.

• Monitor competitor IP portfolios and regulatory updates to support strategic decision-making.

• Assist in product selection and portfolio planning based on patent intelligence.

• Collaborate with R&D, regulatory, and business teams to provide IP guidance throughout the product lifecycle.

• Prepare reports and presentations summarizing patent status, risk assessments, and strategic recommendations.

This position is ideal for candidates with a strong understanding of pharmaceutical patents, regulatory requirements, and IP strategy, who are analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of collaborating across departments.

Eligibility / Qualifications

Educational Requirements:

• M.Pharm, B Pharm, or Life Sciences graduates

Experience:

• 3–5 years in pharmaceutical IPR, patent analysis, FTO studies, or regulatory monitoring

• Strong knowledge of patent law, patent databases, and IP research tools

• Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
