Job Role & Responsibilities
As a Clinical Trial Associate, you will play a vital role in managing and supporting clinical studies throughout their lifecycle. Your contribution ensures that all research activities meet the highest regulatory and ethical standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, coordination, and execution of clinical trials from initiation to closeout.
- Maintain and update trial documentation including investigator brochures, protocols, and informed consent forms.
- Support submission of regulatory documents to authorities and ethics committees.
- Ensure adherence to Good Clinical Practice (GCP), ICH guidelines, and local regulatory norms.
- Track investigational product supplies and manage trial-related logistics.
- Coordinate site activation, monitoring, and closeout activities.
- Liaise with investigators, CROs, vendors, and internal departments for seamless operations.
- Manage Trial Master Files (TMF) and ensure audit readiness.
- Assist in processing study invoices, contracts, and budgets.
Eligibility / Qualifications
Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or Healthcare Management.
Experience Required:
- 1–3 years of experience in clinical research, preferably as a CTA or in a similar role.
Core Skills:
- Understanding of ICH-GCP, FDA regulations, and ethical standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail, documentation accuracy, and multitasking ability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and G Suite.
Preferred:
- Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or CRO settings.
- Clinical Research certification (ACRP, SOCRA) is an advantage.
