Job Role & Responsibilities

Position: Trainee – Microbiology

Department: Microbiology

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform microbial limit testing, sterility testing, and environmental monitoring.
• Conduct water and air quality sampling and analysis as per SOPs.
• Support microbial identification and culture maintenance activities.
• Document results accurately following GLP/GMP standards.
• Assist senior microbiologists during audits and validations.
• Ensure aseptic handling and maintain laboratory cleanliness.

Key Skills:

• Good knowledge of microbiological techniques, media preparation, and aseptic practices.
• Basic understanding of pharmaceutical microbiology, regulatory documentation, and lab safety procedures.
• Strong observation and analytical skills.

Eligibility / Qualifications

Required Qualification: M.Sc in Microbiology
Relevant Courses (comma-separated): M.Sc Microbiology, M.Sc Applied Microbiology, M.Sc Industrial Microbiology, M.Sc Biotechnology, M.Sc Biochemistry

Experience: 0–1 year (Freshers eligible)
