Job Role & Responsibilities

These positions focus on patent evaluation, IP compliance, and providing strategic insights that support product development.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct literature searches related to APIs, formulations, and intermediates.
• Prepare detailed IP landscape reports for global markets.
• Perform FTO (Freedom to Operate) analysis for APIs, formulations, and intermediates.
• Work on patent infringement analysis and support IP clearance for R&D teams.
• Provide preliminary IP status reports for target countries.
• Track country-specific litigations and maintain updated documentation.
• Conduct patentability assessments and draft patent applications.
• Ensure timely updates and accuracy of all IP-related reports.

These responsibilities require analytical ability, familiarity with patent databases, and strong understanding of organic chemistry or pharmaceutical sciences.

Eligibility / Qualifications

Required Education

• M.Pharm (Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmaceutics)
• M.Sc (Organic Chemistry)

Relevant coursework: Medicinal Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Formulation Science, Drug Discovery, Process Chemistry.

Experience

• 2 to 8 years of experience in Patent/IPR roles.
• Experience with FTO, patent drafting, literature search, infringement analysis, or litigation tracking is preferred.
