Job Role & Responsibilities
The Pharmacovigilance Linguist Specialist will support safety case processing and medical review through multilingual analysis. Key responsibilities include:
- Translating, interpreting, and reviewing safety content across assigned languages with high accuracy.
- Supporting Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs) by reviewing source documents in foreign languages.
- Ensuring terminology accuracy aligned with global PV standards.
- Screening, reviewing, and assessing medical content from global sources.
- Supporting safety database updates by ensuring linguistic precision.
- Coordinating with PV teams to resolve language-related queries.
- Maintaining compliance with regulatory and company SOPs.
Eligibility / Qualifications
- Experience: 2–5 years in Pharmacovigilance or related safety operations.
- Education: Background in Pharmacy, Nursing, Life Sciences, Dentistry, or Medical sciences.
- Mandatory Linguistic Skills: Certification in at least two of the following languages: Japanese, French, Arabic, Persian. Levels A1/A2/B1/B2 accepted.
- Comfortable working with global PV guidelines, safety terminology, and case documentation.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and comprehension of multilingual medical content.
- Immediate joiners or candidates serving notice preferred.
