Job Role & Responsibilities

AR&D – API Intermediates

Executive / Senior Executive – AR&D

Experience: 2 to 5 Years

Key Responsibilities:

• Development and validation of analytical methods for API intermediates using HPLC, GC, and UV spectroscopy
• Analysis of assay, related substances, impurities, residual solvents, and in-process samples
• Supporting process development, scale-up activities, and technology transfer to manufacturing
• Investigation of OOS results, deviations, and impurity profiles
• Preparation, review, and maintenance of cGMP-compliant analytical documentation
• Ensuring compliance with ICH guidelines, data integrity, and laboratory safety requirements
• Coordination with R&D, QA, and manufacturing teams for smooth project execution
• Instrument calibration, maintenance, and adherence to laboratory SOPs

Eligibility / Qualifications

Required Education

• M.Sc (Chemistry)

Relevant Courses Include:
M.Sc Chemistry, M.Sc Organic Chemistry, M.Sc Analytical Chemistry

Experience Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of experience in AR&D within API or API intermediates industry
• Strong hands-on experience with HPLC, GC, and UV instrumentation
• Knowledge of cGMP, ICH guidelines, and data integrity principles
