Job Role & Responsibilities
This role sits within ProPharma’s Medical Information Contact Center and is built around accurately handling medical and safety information requests on behalf of ProPharma’s pharmaceutical clients, while strictly following relevant regulations, industry standards, and client policies.
Medical Information Service Delivery
The Medical Information Written Response Agent responds to unsolicited requests for medical and safety information from consumers, healthcare professionals, and other external customers, received through channels such as telephone, website or email, letter, fax, and scientific meetings. Responses must be provided using approved labeled and unlabeled medical and safety information, in line with regulatory requirements and both client and ProPharma policies. A core part of the role involves accurately identifying, documenting, and reporting adverse events, pregnancy reports, special situation events, and product complaints in a clear, concise manner, in accordance with government regulations, ProPharma’s Standard Operating Procedures, and client Working Practices. The agent is also responsible for formulating accurate written responses using approved labeling, company standard responses, and published literature, while logging every enquiry comprehensively and on time within the relevant Inquiry Handling System.
Quality Assurance & General Duties
Maintaining quality across adverse event documentation, product quality complaints, correspondence, and logged enquiries is a continuous responsibility in this role. Agents are also expected to provide after-hours coverage on a rotated basis according to business needs, strictly follow data privacy and confidentiality policies for both ProPharma and its clients, and comply with the company’s health and safety standards.
