Job Role & Responsibilities
The Trainee to Junior Officer – Formulation Development role supports formulation R&D and scale-up activities under the guidance of senior formulation scientists.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in formulation development of solid oral dosage forms such as tablets, capsules, and granules (IR, SR, MR)
- Support laboratory-scale and pilot-scale trial batch preparation
- Assist in selection, dispensing, and weighing of APIs and excipients as per Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR)
- Perform basic granulation, blending, compression, and coating activities under supervision
- Maintain and update Formulation Development Reports (FDR)
- Prepare, review, and update Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs)
- Record experimental observations and data in laboratory logbooks in compliance with GDP guidelines
- Assist in preparation and revision of SOPs, protocols, and technical documents
This role builds strong fundamentals in formulation development, documentation, and pharmaceutical manufacturing compliance.

Required Education
Candidates must possess the following qualification:
M Pharm (Pharmaceutics)
Experience Requirement
- Experience: 0 to 1 year
- Freshers with strong academic knowledge in formulation development may also be considered
Gender Requirement

Preferred Skills
- Basic understanding of solid oral dosage form development
- Knowledge of formulation excipients and manufacturing processes
