Job Role & Responsibilities
Department: Packing (Sterile Injectables)
Position Type: Full-time / Walk-in Interview
Experience Required: 4 to 6 Years
Qualification: B.Pharm / M.Pharm / B.Sc / M.Sc
As a Packing Executive/Officer, your role will be crucial in maintaining seamless packing operations and ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical manufacturing standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the packing area during daily shifts to achieve production targets safely and efficiently.
- Manage manpower allocation and ensure smooth workflow across packing lines.
- Oversee equipment cleaning, line clearance, and line setup as per SOPs.
- Perform and document in-process checks, online BPCR entries, and maintain GMP records accurately.
- Prepare, review, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to packing operations.
- Drive hourly output monitoring and address deviations to maintain consistent quality.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP, EHS, and quality assurance standards during all operations.
- Support IPQA (In-Process Quality Assurance) teams for real-time quality monitoring.
- Manage SPM component trials, serialization, labeling, and track & trace systems.
- Maintain proper material management, storage, and movement of goods.
- Ensure good housekeeping and proper documentation in packing areas.
Eligibility / Qualifications

- Education: B.Pharm, M.Pharm, B.Sc, or M.Sc in disciplines such as Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or Biotechnology.
Relevant Courses: Bachelor of Pharmacy, Master of Pharmacy, Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Master of Science in Biotechnology, Industrial Chemistry, Life Sciences. - Experience: 4–6 years of experience in sterile injectable packing operations within a cGMP-regulated environment.
- Core Competencies:
- Hands-on experience with packing line operations, serialization, and labeling.
- Proficiency in BPCR documentation and SOP preparation.
- Sound understanding of GMP, GDP, and EHS compliance.
- Team leadership and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and process adherence.
