Macleods Pharmaceuticals is conducting a large-scale walk-in drive for freshers at its Centre of Excellence near Vapi, Gujarat. This opportunity is designed for recent graduates and diploma holders who want to start their pharmaceutical manufacturing and quality careers with one of India’s top-ranked pharma companies. Selected candidates will undergo structured internship training with stipend and long-term placement opportunities across Macleods facilities.

The Macleods Centre of Excellence (COE) at Sarigam is a dedicated training and development hub created to groom fresh talent for production, quality, engineering, and biotechnology operations under real-world GMP environments.

Job Role & Responsibilities

Selected freshers will be inducted as Interns at the Macleods Centre of Excellence and trained across core pharmaceutical operations.

Production – API & Formulation

• Support day-to-day API and formulation manufacturing activities
• Learn GMP-compliant production processes and documentation
• Assist in batch operations, equipment handling, and process monitoring

Quality Control

• Exposure to analytical testing and microbiology laboratory operations
• Learn SOPs, data recording, and regulatory documentation
• Support routine QC analysis under senior supervision

Stores & Production Support

• Assist in material receipt, dispensing, and inventory control
• Understand warehouse operations and compliance practices

Engineering (HVAC / Water Systems)

• Support maintenance of HVAC, purified water, and utility systems
• Learn preventive maintenance and compliance requirements

Fermentation & Biotechnology

• Assist in fermentation and biotech production processes
• Gain exposure to biological manufacturing systems

Eligibility / Qualifications

Educational Background

• Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC, ITI
• B.Sc Chemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology
• M.Sc Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology
• B.Pharm, M.Pharm
• B.Com, M.Com (Stores roles)

Relevant courses include:
Diploma Chemical Engineering, BSc Chemistry, MSc Microbiology, BPharm, MPharm, Biotechnology, Analytical Chemistry, ITI Trades

Experience Criteria

• Fresher only (recent pass-outs)
• Immediate joiners preferred
• Male candidates only for shift-based roles

Location & Stipend

• Training Location: Macleods Centre of Excellence, Sarigam (Near Vapi, Gujarat)

• Internship Duration: 3 Months
• Stipend: Paid during internship period
• Post Internship: Placement as Trainee at applicable Macleods locations based on performance
