Job Role & Responsibilities

As an Info Specialist – Literature Intelligence, you will provide expert-level literature search and analysis support across pharmacovigilance, medical affairs, medical information, and drug development teams. Your work directly contributes to regulatory submissions, health authority responses, formulary reviews, and evidence-based medical decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct advanced pharmaceutical and biomedical literature searches using global databases
  • Develop precise and reproducible search strategies covering drug nomenclature, drug classes, and competitive intelligence
  • Curate and analyze scientific and technical literature to support regulatory submissions and health agency requests
  • Deliver timely, high-quality literature intelligence insights to cross-functional global teams
  • Perform comprehensive literature reviews for product submissions, safety assessments, and formulary evaluations
  • Maintain expertise in advanced bibliographic and information management practices
  • Manage citations and references using tools such as EndNote and Mendeley
  • Create and maintain alert strategies for ongoing scientific surveillance
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders to ensure consistency and quality in literature intelligence delivery

This role requires deep expertise in pharmaceutical information sciences and supports critical decision-making in drug safety, development, and commercialization.

Eligibility / Qualifications

Required Education

Candidates must hold an advanced scientific qualification in one of the following:
Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Pharmacology, Biology, Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences

Essential Experience

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical industry, research organizations, or corporate information centers
  • Proven expertise in scientific literature searching and information analysis
  • Hands-on experience with pharmaceutical and biomedical databases such as OVID, Embase, Medline, PubMed, Cortellis, and PharmaProjects
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology and pharmaceutical research workflows
  • Experience supporting pharmacovigilance, medical affairs, or regulatory teams

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of text mining, natural language processing (NLP), and knowledge graphs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
