Job Role & Responsibilities

Apprenticeship – Production

Apprentices in the Production department will gain hands-on exposure to pharmaceutical manufacturing operations, including:

• Supporting tablet, capsule, and formulation manufacturing activities
• Understanding SOP-driven production workflows
• Assisting in equipment operation, cleaning, and line clearance
• Learning GMP documentation, BMR handling, and compliance practices
• Working closely with senior operators and production supervisors

Apprenticeship – Quality Control

The Quality Control apprenticeship focuses on analytical and laboratory-based exposure:

• Supporting routine analysis of raw materials and finished products
• Assisting in wet chemistry and instrumental analysis
• Understanding data recording, GLP practices, and lab safety
• Exposure to stability studies and documentation practices

Apprenticeship – Engineering

Engineering apprentices will work alongside maintenance and utilities teams:

• Supporting equipment maintenance and calibration activities
• Learning preventive maintenance systems
• Exposure to utilities such as HVAC, water systems, and compressed air
• Understanding engineering documentation and safety protocols

Apprenticeship – Formulation Development (R&D)

This role provides early exposure to pharmaceutical research:

• Supporting formulation trials and development batches
• Assisting in scale-up documentation and development reports
• Understanding excipient compatibility and formulation design

Apprenticeship – Analytical Development (R&D)

Candidates will gain experience in:

• Supporting method development and validation activities
• Assisting in analytical data compilation and review
• Exposure to chromatography and regulatory documentation

Apprenticeship – Information Technology

IT apprentices will support digital and system-driven operations:

• Assisting in system maintenance and user support
• Learning IT documentation and compliance practices
• Supporting basic application and infrastructure tasks

Eligibility / Qualifications

Eligible educational backgrounds include:

• B.Sc, B.Pharm, M.Sc, M.Pharm
• B.Com, B.A, B.E, BCA
• ITI (relevant trades)

Relevant courses include: BSc Chemistry, BSc Physics, BSc Mathematics, BPharm, MPharm, MSc Chemistry, MSc Pharmaceutical Sciences, Diploma in Engineering, ITI Fitter, ITI Electrician, ITI Instrumentation, BCA, BE Mechanical, BE Electrical.
