Responsibilities and Duties
- Analyze complex drug samples using physicochemical methods.
- Operate advanced analytical instruments such as HPLC, IR spectrophotometers.
- Standardize reference drug materials.
- Conduct research related to drug quality control.
- Provide training to drug analysts.
- Assist in both technical and administrative functions within the department.
Required Qualifications
Educational Background:
Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in any of the following disciplines from a recognized university or institute:
- Chemistry
- Biochemistry
- Pharmacy
- Pharmaceutical Chemistry
- Pharmacology
- Bacteriology
- Medicine
- Microbiology
- Biotechnology
Experience:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in drug testing, standardisation, or pharmaceutical research.
Desirable Qualification:
- Ph.D./Doctorate in any of the above disciplines is highly desirable.
Age Limit & Relaxation
- Maximum Age: 30 years as of the application closing date.
- Age Relaxation: Up to 5 years for Central/U.T. Government servants and other categories as per official notification.
