Job Role & Responsibilities
Position: Certified Medical Coder
Location: Cebu or Pasig Office
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately assign Outpatient (CPC/COC) and Inpatient (CCS/CIC) codes based on medical records.
- Review and analyze patient charts, clinical documentation, and other relevant data.
- Ensure compliance with coding standards, billing regulations, and healthcare policies.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to resolve coding queries and maintain data accuracy.
- Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on coding guidelines and healthcare regulations.
Skills Required:
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare procedures.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in code assignment.
- Effective communication skills for interaction with clinical and administrative teams.
- Willingness to work onsite at designated offices.
Eligibility / Qualifications
- Educational Qualification: Active nursing license.
- Certifications: Outpatient (CPC/COC) and Inpatient (CCS/CIC) medical coding certifications.
- Experience: Coding experience is not mandatory; hospital bedside experience preferred.
- Location Flexibility: Must be able to work onsite at either Cebu or Pasig offices.
