Job Role & Responsibilities
Position: Trainee – Research & Development (R&D)
Department: Process Development / Chemical Research
Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu
Qualification: M.Sc Chemistry (Organic / Analytical / General)
Experience: Freshers
As a Trainee in the R&D Department, you will work closely with senior scientists to execute experiments, document findings, and contribute to project success. You’ll gain exposure to laboratory practices, chemical reactions, analytical testing, and process optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute assigned chemical reactions on a day-to-day basis under supervision.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, ensuring operational readiness.
- Adhere to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
- Record and document all experimental observations, analytical data, and reaction details accurately.
- Assist in process optimization, scale-up studies, and technology transfer activities.
- Support senior scientists and project leads in developmental activities.
- Contribute intellectual inputs to reaction mechanisms, new ideas, and process improvements.
- Ensure strict compliance with company safety guidelines and environmental standards.
- Participate in cross-functional discussions and collaborative problem-solving.

Eligibility / Qualifications
Required Education:
M.Sc in Chemistry (Organic / Analytical / General / Industrial / Pharmaceutical Chemistry).
