Job Role & Responsibilities

Quality Control Analyst – Injectables

As a QC Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of injectable pharmaceutical products through rigorous analytical testing and documentation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Perform analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished injectable products
  • Operate analytical instruments such as HPLC, GC, UV, IR, and dissolution apparatus
  • Conduct stability studies and support method validation activities
  • Maintain laboratory documentation in compliance with GLP and cGMP guidelines
  • Interpret analytical data and ensure accuracy of test results
  • Investigate OOS (Out of Specification), OOT (Out of Trend), and deviations
  • Support regulatory audits and ensure data integrity
  • Collaborate with QA and production teams for quality improvement

This role is crucial in maintaining pharmaceutical product quality, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting the safe delivery of injectable medicines to patients.

Eligibility / Qualifications

Candidates must have completed:

M.Sc Chemistry

Relevant courses include: Analytical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Quality Control, Drug Analysis

  • Experience: 2 to 5 years in pharmaceutical quality control
  • Hands-on experience with analytical instruments such as HPLC, GC, UV, IR preferred
  • Strong understanding of GLP, cGMP, and regulatory compliance standards
  • Experience in injectable manufacturing or sterile environments is an advantage
  • Good documentation and analytical interpretation skills required
