Job Role & Responsibilities
As an Executive/Sr. Executive – Production Planner, your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining production plans based on sales forecasts, inventory levels, and customer orders.
- Coordinating with cross-functional teams (CFT) to align production schedules.
- Monitoring production progress and adjusting timelines to meet delivery goals.
- Identifying bottlenecks and implementing solutions to improve production flow.
- Managing Material Requirement Planning (MRP) for raw material availability.
- Preparing production reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) for management.
- Participating in capacity planning and long-term strategy development.
- Ensuring accurate documentation within SAP/ERP and other planning systems.
Eligibility / Qualifications
- Education: M.Sc, B.Pharm, M.Pharm, MBA.
- Experience: 4–8 years of relevant experience in Production Planning & Inventory Control (PPIC).
- Requirement: Must have worked in a USFDA-approved sterile/injectable facility.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of SAP/ERP systems.
- Experience in production planning, scheduling, and inventory management.
- Ability to identify process bottlenecks and implement improvements.
Relevant Courses: B.Pharm, M.Pharm (Pharmaceutics, QA, Industrial Pharmacy), M.Sc (Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry), MBA (Operations, Supply Chain).
