Job Role & Responsibilities
Biocon Biologics is recruiting for multiple functional areas. Depending on your background, you may be placed in one of the following departments:
🔹 Engineering & Plant Maintenance
- Ensure smooth operation and preventive maintenance of production equipment.
- Handle electrical, instrumentation, calibration, and mechanical systems.
- Work with advanced automation technologies to support continuous operations.
🔹 Drug Substance Manufacturing
- Participate in biologics production in compliance with GMP standards.
- Execute scale-up processes for biosimilars and biopharmaceuticals.
- Monitor batch operations and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
🔹 Research & Development (R&D) / Technology Transfer
- Work on biosimilars R&D, analytical method development, and product characterization.
- Support technology transfer activities between R&D and manufacturing facilities.
- Contribute to process optimization, scale-up, and validation.
Eligibility / Qualifications
Candidates must hold one of the following qualifications:
- Ph.D / M.Sc / B.Sc / B.Tech / M.Tech / Diploma in:
Biotechnology, Biopharma, Biosimilars, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation & Calibration, Mechatronics, Chemical Engineering.
Experience:
- Freshers: 0–2 years can apply for entry-level positions.
- Experienced Professionals: 2–16+ years of relevant industry experience preferred.
- Prior work in biopharmaceuticals, medical devices, or regulated manufacturing industries is highly desirable.
