Job Role & Responsibilities
As a Sr. Associate I, Clinical Research (Non-MD), you will:
- Design and conduct clinical studies to assess drug efficacy and safety.
- Develop and execute clinical protocols in collaboration with investigators.
- Perform literature searches to support Clinical Evaluation Reports (CERs), State of the Art reviews, and Safety/Performance assessments.
- Summarize and analyze safety data including adverse event records.
- Provide regulatory support by preparing scientific documentation.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, company policies, and international medical device regulations.
- Work with cross-functional teams such as Medical Safety, Regulatory Affairs, and HEOR.
- Stay updated with ophthalmic terminology, eye anatomy, and related medical procedures.
- Collaborate across global teams to support international operations.
Eligibility / Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, or related healthcare field.
- Experience in Pharma Complaint Handling, Device Vigilance, or Pharmacovigilance.
- Strong knowledge of medical device regulations and safety reporting.
- Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills.
- Familiarity with MS Office tools and scientific writing.
- Understanding of national and international regulatory guidelines.
- Ability to multitask, manage priorities, and pay strong attention to detail.
Preferred Experience:
- Prior exposure to medical device vigilance and post-marketing safety practices.
- Experience working with US-based customers.
