Job Role & Responsibilities
The Pharmacovigilance Systems Specialist role focuses on managing and optimizing PV databases to support end-to-end drug safety operations. The position requires a blend of technical system knowledge, regulatory understanding, and cross-functional coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee implementation, configuration, and maintenance of pharmacovigilance systems
- Monitor system performance to ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with safety, clinical, and technical teams to enhance system functionality
- Support reporting architecture and data retrieval tools for PV operations
- Provide system training and user support to internal teams
- Track emerging trends and technological advancements to drive system improvements
Additional Contributions
- Document system updates, configurations, and validation activities

- Ensure systems remain aligned with Good Pharmacovigilance Practices (GVP)

Eligibility / Qualifications
Required Education
B.Sc, M.Sc, B.Pharm, M.Pharm, Pharm.D, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Information Technology, Computer Science.
Required Experience
- Prior experience in pharmacovigilance systems management or related technical PV operations
- Exposure to safety databases and PV workflow tools in pharma or clinical research environments
- Experience in database management, system validation, or data integrity processes
