Thermo Fisher Scientific, a global leader in scientific services, is inviting applications for the role of Clinical Research Associate (CRA) Level II. This is a remote full-time position based out of Mumbai, Maharashtra, offering dynamic opportunities for experienced professionals in clinical monitoring and site management.
The CRA will support the execution and oversight of clinical research projects, working with cutting-edge protocols to ensure data quality, compliance, and participant safety.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Site Monitoring
- Conduct on-site and remote site visits to assess protocol and regulatory compliance
- Use risk-based monitoring strategies to ensure data accuracy and integrity
- Execute Source Data Review (SDR), Source Data Verification (SDV), and CRF checks
Regulatory & Documentation
- Ensure all required essential documents are complete and in compliance with ICH-GCP
- Maintain project tracking systems (e.g., Clinical Trial Management System)
- Document findings and prepare reports as per business writing standards
Site & Sponsor Collaboration
- Establish strong communication with investigators, sponsors, and internal project teams
- Manage investigational product inventory and review trial-related documents
- Participate in site identification, initiation, close-out, and audit preparedness
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing or equivalent
Experience:
- 1–3 years of experience as CRA with on-site monitoring experience
- Familiarity with GCP, ICH guidelines, and relevant regulatory frameworks
Skills:
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and therapeutic areas
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Proven ability in risk-based monitoring and root cause analysis
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain compliance
