Job Role & Responsibilities
The Associate Technical Writer will support the creation and maintenance of technical documents used across IQVIA’s products and services. Core responsibilities include:
- Developing manuals, how-to guides, product documentation, articles, and online help content.
- Distilling complex technical data into concise, user-friendly information.
- Organizing material to meet clarity, style, and terminology standards.
- Maintaining accurate documentation records and revision logs.
- Editing and standardizing material created by other contributors.
- Selecting diagrams, drawings, photos, and charts for documentation.
- Collaborating with engineering and production teams to understand product technologies.
- Preparing publication layouts and online help documentation.
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, prototypes, and samples.
- Observing development activities to document accurate processes.
- Evaluating existing content for updates and recommending revisions.
- Coordinating duplication, formatting, and distribution of materials.
Eligibility / Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Strong command of written English and technical communication.
- Ability to interpret complex information and present it clearly.
- Familiarity with technical content, structured documentation, and digital publishing tools.
