Job Role & Responsibilities
Department: MedChem
Designation: Research Associate / Scientist (depending on experience)
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting synthetic organic chemistry research for new drug molecules.
- Designing, planning, and executing multi-step organic syntheses.
- Purification, characterization, and analysis of compounds using advanced techniques.
- Collaborating with cross-functional R&D teams to support drug discovery projects.
- Documenting laboratory experiments as per GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) guidelines.
- Ensuring compliance with company and regulatory safety standards.
Eligibility / Qualifications
- Qualification: M.Sc in Organic Chemistry (specialization in Medicinal Chemistry/Pharmaceutical Chemistry is an added advantage).
- Experience: 2–5 years of hands-on experience in organic synthesis and medicinal chemistry.
- Skills Required:
- Strong theoretical knowledge and practical expertise in synthetic organic chemistry.
- Proficiency in analytical techniques such as NMR, HPLC, LC-MS, and GC.
