This opportunity is tailored for experienced professionals with a postgraduate background in Life Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or MBA (Project Management) with pharma exposure. Located in Hyderabad, this role supports global clients in CRO-based drug discovery and development projects.
About Chemveda Life Sciences
With a strong foundation in providing Contract Research Organization (CRO) services, Chemveda is known for its expertise in synthetic chemistry, process development, and early drug discovery. The company is expanding its project management team to enhance client engagement and project delivery outcomes.
Role: Project Management Executive
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end project lifecycle management using standardized tools
- Tracking milestones from project initiation to closure
- Weekly status updates and executive-level reporting
- Monthly LNB and E-LNB audits
- Coordinating international compound shipments as per regulatory standards
- Maintaining project documentation, tracking sheets, and meeting minutes (MoM)
- Risk management and issue resolution
- Facilitating internal and external stakeholder communication
- Oversight of chemical/SFC billing and FTE invoicing
- Maintaining cost efficiency and headcount reporting for ongoing projects
Educational Qualification
Candidates must hold a postgraduate degree in one of the following disciplines:
- MSc. in Life Sciences
- MSc. in Chemical Sciences
- M.Pharm or M.S. in Pharmaceutical Sciences
- MBA in Project Management with a background in chemical or pharmaceutical domains
Experience Required
Applicants must have 2–4 years of project management experience, preferably within a CRO or discovery chemistry pharmaceutical environment.
Skills and Competencies
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Strong understanding of CRO-based workflows
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Familiarity with FTE tracking, pre-sales coordination, and budget management
- Proficient in project tools and documentation techniques
