Job Role & Responsibilities
Analytical Development Scientist – Formulation R&D
The Analytical Development Scientist will be responsible for developing, validating, and supporting analytical methods for finished pharmaceutical products.
Key responsibilities include:
- Analytical method development and validation for oral solid and liquid dosage forms
- Performing assay, dissolution, and related analytical studies
- Supporting formulation development and scale-up activities
- Preparing and reviewing analytical protocols, reports, and validation documents
- Ensuring compliance with ICH guidelines, pharmacopoeial standards, and regulatory expectations
- Supporting stability studies and lifecycle management activities
- Participating in regulatory query responses and internal audits
This role requires a strong understanding of analytical techniques, regulatory documentation, and pharmaceutical quality systems.
Eligibility / Qualifications
Educational Requirements
- M.Pharm
- M.Sc (Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry)
Relevant courses include: Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmaceutics, Analytical Chemistry, Industrial Pharmacy, Regulatory Sciences, Quality Assurance
Experience Criteria
- 4–5 years of hands-on experience in Analytical Development
