Are you a Life Science graduate with over 3 years of pharmaceutical industry experience? Novartis is actively hiring Senior Clinical Research Associates to support Phase I–IV clinical trial execution across multiple locations in India. As a part of the Global Drug Development (GDD) team, you’ll serve as a strategic site liaison, ensuring successful clinical trial operations and long-term partnerships between Novartis and clinical research sites.
Key Responsibilities
Core Duties of the Role
Site Relationship Management
- Act as the primary point of contact between Novartis and clinical sites.
- Drive sustainable trial execution with true ownership mindset.
Trial Monitoring
- Conduct on-site and remote monitoring activities per ICH/GCP standards.
- Execute Site Initiation Visits (SIV), closeouts, and continuous monitoring.
Training and Documentation
- Train site personnel on protocols and amendments.
- Ensure documentation is compliant with GDP and Novartis SOPs.
Risk Mitigation & Quality Control
- Identify deficiencies and propose corrective measures.
- Foster a culture of compliance, ethical integrity, and patient safety.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Minimum Qualifications
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Nursing, or other healthcare disciplines.
Experience Requirements
- 3+ years of pharmaceutical or clinical research industry experience.
- Previous field monitoring experience preferred.
- Fluent in English and local language.
