Key Responsibilities – QC Chemist (Wet Lab)
Daily Tasks and Analytical Responsibilities
- Conduct wet lab analysis involving titration, LOD, pH measurement, and other routine quality checks
- Ensure testing protocols align with pharmacopeial guidelines (IP/BP/USP)
- Maintain precise records and documentation for compliance audits
- Work cross-functionally with QA and Production teams
Compliance and Documentation
- Prepare analytical reports and ensure accuracy of results
- Maintain lab instruments, calibration records, and testing logs
- Follow Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and SOPs strictly
Required Qualifications and Skills
Educational Background
- MSc in Chemistry or related specialization such as Analytical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry
Professional Experience
- Minimum 1 year and up to 3 years of hands-on experience in a pharmaceutical QC lab
- Strong technical skills in wet chemistry techniques such as:
- Titration (acid-base, redox, complexometric)
- Loss on Drying (LOD)
- pH measurement
- Working knowledge of GMP and regulatory requirements
