Job Role & Responsibilities
As a DMPK – In Vitro ADME Scientist, your key responsibilities will include:
- Performing In Vitro ADME assays, including metabolic and plasma stability, CYP inhibition, and plasma protein binding studies.
- Conducting physicochemical studies, such as solubility (kinetic & thermodynamic), chemical stability, and Log D measurements.
- Assessing differential metabolism using cytosolic and S9 fractions, hepatocyte stability, and reaction phenotyping.
- Supporting LC-MS/MS-based bioanalytical studies for sample analysis.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to interpret data and contribute to drug discovery projects.
- Maintaining detailed documentation and reports in compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
Eligibility / Qualifications
- Experience: 2–8 years in DMPK and In Vitro ADME studies.
- Education: M.Sc, M.Pharm, or equivalent in Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related life sciences.
- Skills Required:
- Expertise in metabolic stability, CYP inhibition, plasma protein binding.
- Strong knowledge of solubility, Log D, chemical stability assays.
- Hands-on experience with hepatocyte and S9 fraction metabolism studies.
- Familiarity with LC-MS/MS analysis is a plus.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and effective in team collaboration.
Relevant courses: Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Biochemistry, DMPK, ADME Studies, LC-MS/MS Bioanalysis.
