Job Role & Responsibilities
As a Cell Culture Associate, you will:
- Perform mammalian cell culture techniques, including adherent and suspension culture systems.
- Handle cell line maintenance, cryopreservation, and recovery processes.
- Support stable cell line generation and transient/stable transfections.
- Optimize media and feeding strategies for high-yield cultures.
- Execute molecular biology techniques such as PCR, plasmid isolation, and bacterial transformation.
- Maintain accurate experimental documentation, ensuring compliance with GLP and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for data analysis and research reporting.
This role requires strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and meticulous attention to laboratory detail.
Eligibility / Qualifications
- Educational Background: B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Life Sciences, or related disciplines. Courses like B.Sc. Biotechnology, M.Sc. Molecular Biology, M.Sc. Biochemistry, B.Sc. Microbiology, and B.Sc. Life Sciences are highly relevant.
